Akke and Loda reunite
The legendary Swedish duo of Joakim "Akke" Akterhall and Jonathan "Loda" Berg will once more join forces to take on the Dota 2 scene with a new team.

The legendary Swedish duo of Joakim "Akke" Akterhall and Jonathan "Loda" Berg will once more join forces to take on the Dota 2 scene with a new team.According to tweets from
Jonathan 'Loda' Berg, he will be embracing his long-time friend and teammate,
Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall, to form a new Dota 2 scene. This follows the roster adjustments of
Team Zenith and
Counter Logic Gaming , that resulted in the departure of Loda and Akke, respectively. This brand new team will begin its preparation for events in the international scene once Loda has situated himself back in Sweden, after months of residing in Singapore with him now former teammates from Zenith. The full details of this cooperation have yet to be revealed, with a specific secretive nature pertaining to who else the pair will play along side.
These two players have a long-standing history that spans back half a decade and reached its pinnacle from the original DotA when they represented the legendary roster of SK Gaming alongside
Kim 'Drayich' Larsson,
Erik 'Bogdan' Olsson,
Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall,
Edvin 'KwoM' Börjesson and
Gustav 'Renji' Bergström. Since the team's disbandment in early 2009, Akke and Loda have sporadically played together, with the most recent composition being in Counter Logic Gaming, which spanned from February to May of this year. Both players spent some time in the Heroes of Newerth scene in opposing teams, but made their comebacks to the Dota 2 scene after the immense success of The International 2011.
Immediately prior to making this announcement, Loda commented upon the speculation that he would leave the Dota 2 scene, in order to compete in the HonTour, which features a seasonal 330,000 USD prize pot. He denied these claims, calling them "bullshit".
