After the season started with a partner tourney a few weeks ago, last week Konami hosted the first of 13 city tourneys, where the participants have the chance to qualify for the German Masters next year.

Like every year, Konami will host a few offline tourneys in different German cities, where the participants have the chance to qualify for the big final, the German Masters which will take place next year. The other participants are collecting ranking points, with them they can qualify for the German Masters indirect.

Today our PES Pro`s Christian 'Cristiano811' Sprengel and Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier will compete at the city tourney in Dortmund against the best PES players in Germany to get their ticket for the German Masters and therewith the chance to qualify for the European Finals. We will have a big live coverage, so you can follow the whole tourney live, because Konami will not host a live stream or something like that.

The sign up is open until 11 a.m. and our guys are still on the way to Dortmund. Both of them want to win their first tournament of the year, but especially the guys from mousesports are in a very good condition. At around 11 a.m. the tourney will start and we will update this news after every match, so stay tuned !

Both players played their first matches of the groupstage. Christian 'Cristiano811' Sprengel won his first match with 12:0(!) and managed a draw in the secon game with 4:4. Instead Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier won both of his matches with 3:1 and 3:2 and is therewith on the top of his group with 6 points.

SK`s own PES pro`s are dominating their group and went confident into the next round as group winner. Christian 'Cristiano811' Sprengel won his third match with 5:0 and is group winner with 7 points. Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier also won his third match with 5:2 and therewith all matches of the first round. The next round of the tournament will start after a short break in around 45 minutes.

SK Gaming's PES player's have just finished their three matches in the 2nd phase of the tournament, called "random phase". Christian 'Cristiano811' Sprengel, who has managed to win his first match 3:1, his second match 4:3 and have won his last match aswell with a solid 9:3. The same with our other PES Pro, Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier have won his first match in the phase with 4:1 and he dominated his second match and won it 5:2. His last match in the "random phase" ended really close but still he looked confident and won it 1:0.

The tournament is over and both player reached the quarter-final. Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier won his matches confident with 1:0 and 4:1. Christian 'Cristiano811' Sprengel won his matches with 1:0 and 5:3, but had to play against the best PES player in Germany at the moment, Mike 'El_Matador' Linden. He lost the match 0:2 and was therewith out of the tourney. Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier won his quarter-final match with 3:1 and also the semi-final match with 1:0. In the final he has to play against Mike 'El_Matador' Linden who knocked out Christian 'Cristiano811' Sprengel, and also S-Butcher lost his match against him, but Mike is qualified for the tournament and therewith the 2. place, which Sven 'S-Butcher' Wehmeier reached is enough for the qualification for the German Masters next year.
