ImageThe second edition of the Lone Star Clash (LSC) tournament has been officially announced today. There will be a price money pool filled with $35.000 for both Starcraft II and League Of Legends players. The RTS game got $15.000 price purse for 16 players.

About seven months ago the first edition of the LSC came to an end with 16 players battling for their piece of cake from the $10.000 price pool. At the end, the french player FR Ilyes 'Stephano' Satouri was victorious as he was able to beat KR Seong Hun 'Polt' Choi with a 3:1 score.

The Texas e-Sports Association (TESPA) and the Cyber Sports Network (CSN) declared that the LSC 2 will take place from November 10-11 in Austin, Texas, USA to determine, once again, the best of the best in Starcraft II and League Of Legends. There have been a few changes in the LSC 2 but most things are still the same as in the LSC 1.

As in the previous edition there will be 16 players who will have the chance to win a part from the $15.000 price pool. A total of 14 invites will be given while two more players will be able to qualify themselves in one CSL and one global qualifier. Those 16 players will then determine the best in the double elimination mode.
So far just one player has been invited: Stephano. That is no big surprise as he is the champion of the first edition. The other players have to be announced yet but there is still more information.

With US Sean 'Day[9]' Plott, GB John 'TotalBiscuit' Bain, US Alex 'Axteltoss' Rodriguez and US Rachel 'Seltzer' Quirico the LSC II will be able to cover the event with some of the best hosts available. One more host is yet to be announced and one might only guess who it will be.

More information and links to sign up the qualifiers can be found in the official news on the TESPA homepage.
