ImageThe Counter-Strike: Global Offensive developer team has confirmed that a major update will be released on Monday, the first day of October.

A new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update is on way. Yesterday the developers has confirmed that the new update includes a match-making system, while stating that a lot of bugs will be fixed, based on community feedback. Also two new maps will be introduced with this new update: the classic de_vertigo and ar_monastery.

Statement about the changes:

"Lately we’ve been hinting at some of the big changes on the way for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

On Monday, we will release a major update to CS:GO. It will feature a revised matchmaking system for Classic Competitive mode, two maps (the classic de_vertigo and the fast-paced ar_monastery), and a ton of bug fixes based on community feedback."
