While most of the organizations are switching to CS:GO and pick up their former CS 1.6 or CS:S lineups as representatives, the Copenhagen Wolves broke that trend bringing in a new lineup. As most of the former CS:S Wolves did not show interest in playing the new game, the organization decided to create a new structure featuring a former
Tt Dragons trio as well as two former
Blight Gaming members.
Copenhagen Wolves Manager, Jakob 'JLK' Lund Kristensen stated:
It is known that the Wolves have planned to attend the SLAP LIVE #26 that will take place between November 1st and 4th during the Gadgets & Games expo featuring a total prize pool of $12.800.

Copenhagen Wolves Manager, Jakob 'JLK' Lund Kristensen stated:
"Today we start yet another Counter-Strike era in Copenhagen Wolves. With our great history in first Counter-Strike 1.6 and since then Counter-Strike: Source, it is only natural that we step into the brand new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene.
The players entering are a mix of both old Wolves players and some fresh faces ready to take on the absolute elite. We have had discussions with a lot of players in regards to representing us in CS:GO, but in the end this choice was quite obvious.
This team might not have the star power that some of our rivals do, but after talking things over with these guys, it was clear our objective is the exact same - becoming the best in the world.
So from this day on they will begin the hard training it takes to become the best and we are extremely excited to follow them on this journey. We hope all our fans will welcome them to the Wolves family and support them with the same passion that they have supported all of our former players!"
