The first twelve participants are certain. After a week long qualifier the two teams Wikipediots and hatersG0nnahate claim a spot for the DreamHack Bucharest tournament next month.

In the first international qualification the Danish team Wikipediots were the first to do so, beating Finnish team ajuri 2-1 (16-12 on de_tuscan, 14-16 on de_inferno, 16-12 on de_nuke). Also hatersG0nnahate from Sweden followed some hours later, beating the Danes from dakarma 2-1 (10-16 on de_train, 16-10 on de_tuscan, 16-11 on de_nuke).

The DreamHack Bucharest tournament will as mentioned feature a €10,000 prize purse, running October 20-21 at a venue named Turbohalle. The winner of the tournament will not only go home with €5,000 but also a spot for the $45,000 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament at DreamHack Winter.
