The ESL Baltic's announced

ImageThe ESL Baltic announced that will still support Counter-Strike 1.6 and this time the organizers of ESL Baltic's will have their own TV show on channel VIASAT Sport Baltic.

Baltic Countries which are Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania have been suffering for quite long time from not having any big local LAN's or even qualifiers for international LAN tournaments. And now, when the world is standing on the edge between saying goodbye to Counter-Strike 1.6 or stay with it, Estonia and other Baltic countries give to all of us a hope that Counter-Strike 1.6 is not dead.

The tournament features the best teams and players from the Baltic Countries. The matches will be broadcasted live from the tournament. The best top teams from the three qualifiers such as EAS Lithuania, EAS Latvia, and EAS Estonia will secure a place to the ESL Baltic's Pro Series. The best four teams at EPS Baltic's Season 1 will advance for the EPS Baltic's offline finals. For more information you can check by clicking on this link

Marius Markevicius, CEO of IT Baltic's stated:

"The management of IT Baltic's have visited CeBIT 2012 and were most impressed with ESL Intel Extreme Masters finals there. Since the company is hosting the largest IT expo in the Eastern Europe, the idea of having ESL in the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia) was generated. After extensive research, it was discovered that gaming market in the Baltic States is very divided, and IT Baltic's management team have decided to establish ESL Baltic's and unite the gamers into one large community"

SK Gaming talked with one of the representative of EPS Estonia Roman "rek" Beskostyi and here is what he said:

"Our region is very thankful to ESL Baltic's for giving us a chance to play the games we all love to. We have analyzed all the previous successful ESL structures from different countries and will try to transfer only the best experience to our region. Moreover, we will try to overcome the most competitive countries if not in quantity of players than at least in quality of organizing upcoming tournaments. It is a truly historical day for Baltic Cyber sport in general because starting from the second season ESL Baltic's project will have its own TV show on channel VIASAT Sport Baltic.

The show will be aired once every week, approximately right after Formula 1. Furthermore, you will be given an exclusive chance to watch all our local LAN's in real-time mode on VIASAT Sport Baltic channel. At the moment, a new ESL TV Baltic's Studio is being constructed, which is located in Lithuania, Kaunas city.
