PGS unveils $6500 CS:GO tournament

ImageA new CS:GO tournament was just announced. The event will be taking place at the Exponor center and will run between October 11th and 14th. Was also revealed that eight teams will participate for the battle to get a slice of the $6.568 prize pool.

Another Counter-strike: Global Offensive tourney was announced. It is known by everyone around the scene that the ProGamerSeries will host a CS 1.6 event in October. Now, the organization announced that they will also run a tournament featuring Valve's latest first-person-shooter game as main title.

The CS:GO event will be running simultaneously with the Starcraft 2 tourney, between October 11th to 14th. The total prize money ascends to $6.543, with more than the half of it, going to the squad which manage to get on top of the competition.

Eight teams will be taking part of the battle for the champion title and the prizes.

The Pro Gamer Series Exponor will take place between October 11th and 14th, at the Exponor centre in the Portuguese capital city, Porto. With the addition of this new Counter-strike: Global Offensive tournament the total prize pool featured in the Portuguese PGS event goes up to $27.480.
