Alternate stops CS 1.6 support
One of the most successful German organizations in the Counter-strike scene ends their long-term CS 1.6 support today. Alternate just announced that they will be parting ways with the roster that so far represented them in the CS 1.6 discipline.

One of the most successful German organizations in the Counter-strike scene ends their long-term CS 1.6 support today. Alternate just announced that they will be parting ways with the roster that so far represented them in the CS 1.6 discipline.One of the most successful German organizations in the Counter-strike scene closed its CS 1.6 division today. After their long-term support for the 13 years-old game, and with some notable achievements, Alternate has decided to release the lineup that so far represented them in the discipline.
As most notable achievements of the German team, we can mention the four German EPS titles, a third place in the 2006 Electronic Sports World Cup and at IEM Season 2, and of course the champion title of the World Series of Video Games in 2006 in New York, USA.
No further details about the future of the released players was delivered by the organization and it is also still unknown if they will switch to CS:GO.
