New information about teams switching to CS:GO came to our hands today. This time, featuring the Portuguese-based organization K1ck. The team dominated the Counter-strike scene in Portugal the last years and decided to switch to CS:GO after the organization behind Dreamhack Valencia announced that they will be changing CS 1.6 to Global Offensive.

The organisation also released details on a few changes to the lineup that formerly represented K1ck in the 1.6 discipline. Those changes include the substitution of the former in-game leader of the squad BR Helder 'coachi' Sancho, as well as other two players meaning that only two players from the original CS 1.6 roster will remain in K1ck-CS:GO.

K1ck CS:GO are now:
PT Ricardo "fox" Pacheco
PT Christopher "mUttt" Fernandes
PT Fábio "n3w" Teixeira
PT Mário "Fyx" Rodrigues
PT Frederico "iNsideR" Costa

Fox stated about the move:
"Today we have officially announced the change into CS:GO. As a part of this organization, I am grateful for the commitment and effort that the former players had towards the team, namely coachi, axon and rmn, but we think that this CS / CSS mix is the best solution. Thank you all for supporting us for so long and I hope that you will keep rooting for the team"
