Bruce finishes second

ImageSK Gaming's newest addition to the sports team, Bruce 'Spank' Grannec, has already got his first tournament on the line. The French WCG Qualifier Finals take place at the Paris Manga & Sci-Fi show today.

The World Cyber Games are kind of the Olympic Games in e-Sports. Everyone wants to win a WCG Grand Final once in a liftime to call oneself the absolutely best player on the globe. Today, the French Qualifier Finals for the WCG take place in Paris at the Manga & Sci-Fi show. Four players have qualified online to participate in the final offline round of the qualification. Amongst them is SK Gaming's new FIFA star FR Bruce 'Spank' Grannec who is FIWC and ESWC Champion already. But one important title is missing, the World Cyber Games crown.

Starting at 2:30 pm (GMT + 1), the four finalists will play their semi-finals. Bruce will face
FR Johann 'Maniiika' Simon in his first match. Unfortunately, we have no further information on a live stream yet nor closer detailed information about the other finalists, but we will update as soon as possible.

Bruce has already arrived at the Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show and is currently answering some questions for the French TV before going into the WCG France Finals! Follow him on Facebook and Twitter fir live coverage from Paris.

The livestream is available on our event page now! The FIFA matches will begin at 2:30 pm. The four finalists are FR Bruce 'Spank' Grannec, FR Matthieu 'matik' Christmann, FR Anas 'astank' Sofi and FR Johann 'Maniiika' Simon.

The players are currently getting briefed backstage and will be on stream soon.

SK Gaming player Bruce Grannec s dominating the first match of the series. His opponent only had one real attack which he scored for the 1-1, but Bruce managed to score another goal and win the first match 2-1.

The second match seemed to be more in the hands of FR Johann 'Maniiika' Simon who got in lead quite early, but once again, Bruce managed to come back again by shooting a goal in the 65th minute. The remis was enough for Bruce to proceed to the Grand Final.

This is the match of the matches now. On the line, there is the qualification for the WCG Grand Finals in Shanghai in November. SK Gaming's FR Bruce 'Spank' Grannec faces of against FR Anas 'astank' Sofi in the stream now.

Update 17:30
Unfortunately, the SK player could not realize his dream of a WCG Grand Final participation. In the qualification final, he fell down to his fellow countryman 1-5 and therewith finishes second.
