New apeX line-up for Dreamhack Valencia

ImageIn just two weeks one of the biggest PC and console LAN's in the world will take place in Valencia, Spain. Now another COD team announced their line-up for this event.

A lot of teams are announcing their attendance for Dreamhack Valencia at the moment, also apeX.Esports. The team is made up of different players from miscellaneous organisations. After a disappointing 5/6th place at i46 two weeks ago, Tom 'Tommey' Trewren left Team Dignitas to lead the newly formed COD team from apeX.Esports, which was very successfully in the past.

With him Nick 'XLNC' Ward joined the team, who placed 2nd at the COD XP in Los Angeles one year ago, but in COD:MW3 he is still looking for his defining accomplishment that he showed in Black Ops times. The third player of the team is ex-SK player Josh 'Joshh' Sheppard, who placed 2nd with SK Gaming at EGL 7 one month ago. The line-up completes with the famous French COD player Maxi 'Maxxie' Ebran, who has got also a bad series of worse placements on European tournaments in the last months.

Team leader Tom 'Tommey' Trewren said in a little statement to

"I felt that while being in dignitas, and that current team that I would be needing to put in a lot of time to the game to ensure we'd always be hitting our own personal targets along with those of dignitas, and after two events of finishing 5th that became even more obvious. However I wasn't able to put in as much time as I have done in the past and felt that I wouldn't be able to for the rest of MW3, so it was best for me to take a step back and let them find someone who'd have the same amount of passion and dedication that was needed for that team to progress. Moving onto the new line up under apeX, this came around as a bit of a surprise to me, as after announcing that I'd left dignitas, Michael, the manager of apeX contacted me asking if I'd like to set a team up with Nick for DH. We didn't have much time to put together a roster as things needed to be booked as soon as possible, so after a few days of scrimming with Josh/Maxxie and it looking rather good, we just went ahead and stuck with that basically. It isn't a permanent roster, however if things go well at DH, this could be the same for EGL8 and so on. I'd like to give a big thanks to both, apeX and Dignitas and ofcourse Scruff. Please check out my stream here "
