DH Valencia with CS:GO instead of 1.6
With just a week to go before the start of the event, DH Valencia organisers have announced that the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament was canceled in favour of CS:GO.

With just a week to go before the start of the event, DH Valencia organisers have announced that the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament was canceled in favour of CS:GO.The decision came after only three teams signed up for the Counter-Strike tournament, which was set to have a €5,000 prize purse. Portuguese powerhouse k1ck alongside x6tence and DAMNATORUM were the only teams interested in participating at DreamHack Valencia.
The organisers decided today to switch to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in an attempt to gather five more teams, in order for the tournament to take place. Teams willing to join the Spanish event need to first purchase a BYOC pass, after which they need to send an email to esport@dreamhack.es with the following info:
DreamHack Valencia will begin on the 22nd of September and will feature a prize pool of €5,000, half of it will be going to the winning team.
