Eric Hirshberg, Activision Publishing CEO commentating on the upcoming Call of Duty World Championship $1.000.000 tourney:
Call of Duty is more than a video game. It's a pastime shared by millions. It's exciting to play and fun to watch, and we can't wait to see what this year's event has in store."
However, before heading to Hollywood, it is everyone's task to complete the online qualification and the following Regional Finals. The two online competitions for the German qualifier will be held on the 19th and 25th January and decide which German teams will be going to the big Regional Final in the center of London. Probably this final will be hosted by Activision's European partner Gfinity from the 28th February till the 2nd March and feature the best four teams of these two online qualification cups. Only the best two teams out of this eight ones who will compete in the Regional Final in London, will have a chance to get this with $400.000 doped title of the "Call of Duty World Champion 2014".
