UNiTED wins AEC Japan

ImageAsia E-Sports Cup Japanese qualifier is now over and UNiTED secured their spot at the Tokyo Game Show 2012 set to take place on 21th - 23th of September in Tokyo, Japan.

Team UNiTED won the qualifier and will represent Japan at Asia E-Sports Cup finals under the tag of myRevenge which is set to kick off on 21th - 23th of September at the Tokyo Game Show. The team joined myRevenge organisation and become their Japanese Counter-Strike 1.6 division.

The qualifier featured eight teams and UNiTED went on top of them easily. In the group stage they finished second in their group A. However they made it to the finals and defeated La Cosanostra Cat with total score of 2-0 in maps.

AEC Japan final standings:
1. JP UNiTED - Asia E-Sports Cup finals spot
2. JP La Cosanostra Cat
3-4. JP Carezza
3-4. JP DotA

JP myRevenge lineup:
Ken "barusa" Ota
Junya "noppo" Taniguchi
Shohei "sioncojp" Koyama
Ryuta "rappyas" Taniguchi
Munehito "starbucks" Takekawa

The teams that will make the trip to Tokyo, Japan on 21th - 23th of September will be Malaysian Hybrid, NSD Gaming and myRevenge. The fourth team will be known from the Singaporean qualifier which is scheduled to kick off on 8th of September.
