ImageA couple of days ago it was announced on Golden Five's facebook fan page that they are already practicing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive but still not giving up Counter-Strike: 1.6.

The ESC Gaming's Polish team is one of the greatest teams ever seen in the scene of Counter-Strike 1.6 for the past few years. According to their facebook fan page they are practicing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and will take part in CS:GO tournaments. However they will still play Counter-Strike: 1.6 until there are absolutely no tournaments for CS: 1.6.

Their post on facebook:

"To everyone out there interested in the future of our team - we do not quit CS 1.6, we have started practicing CS:GO right now to see how it is, and to be ready - if most of the events will switch to the new game.
If there will be any 1.6 event out there in the world we will be very happy to participate in that. Unfortunately the situation is as it is and we are also very unhappy about us being forced to leave aside the game that we all love and that has been part of us since over a decade.
It's been the greatest time for us but we have to move on and stay open minded for anything that the future might bring to us. Be gentle in your judgement! Peace! :)"

Golden Five lineup:
PL Jakub "kuben" Gurczynski
PL Filip "Neo" Kubski
PL Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas
PL Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski
PL Jaroslaw "pasha" Jarz?bkowski
