The eight teams that will be taking part of the Steelseries GO were picked up from the 13 included on the first list. The chosen squads includes the brand new NiP as well as the three foreign teams featured on the preliminary list.Shortly ago it was revealed a preliminary list of 13 teams that signed up to take part on the SteelSeries GO tournament. Now the organisers made the final list of the eight teams known to the public. These teams will fight for the $4.325 prize pool.
The five teams that were excluded from the event are from Sweden, meaning that the three foreign squads that signed up will be traveling to Stockholm to attend the first LAN tournament played after the release of Valve's new title.
As we mentioned before, the Steelseries GO tournament will be held on the Swedish capital city at the E-Sport Arena on the Inferno Online complex. The eight teams will start the fight for the prize pot on August 25th and the action will continue during the rest of the weekend.
On the first stage, the teams will be separated into two groups of four teams each one, playing best-of-one map. Those which manage to advance to the playoffs, will play best-of-three maps battles in a single elimination bracket.
