ImageTSL 4 has by far been one of the most anticipated online tournaments the StarCraft 2 world has seen so far. The prestigious 32 player tournament is featuring players from all over the world! Day 1 of the round of 8 is about to get under way - let's preview the action ahead of us!

The Team Liquid Starleague has become one of the biggest events of the year. TSL is known for changing the lives of many young pro gamers looking to make a name for themselves. This TSL will be no different in fact with the upcoming launch of HOTS this might be the tournament for someone to build their career.

Day 2 of the round of 8 is here. We have 4 remaining players going head to head to earn their spot in the Semi Finals. Anyone from the round of 8 can be the champion of TSL 4, there isn't a single player who doesn't deserve to be here. Tonight will decide the second Semi Final and we have the last non Korean standing! Let's not waste any time and get right into the preview!

The first match for tonight will be a Zerg vs Zerg, historically this match up has been hated on more than Protoss Vs Protoss purely because of its dull nature.

During TSL 4, Curious had his chance to put his ZvZ skills on show for the world to see verse LaLush and he single handedly destroyed him 3:0. In ZvZ Curious sits with a healthy 70% win rate. His round of 16 match up went a lot smoother than expected as well disposing of his teammate Squirtle in a four game series.

His opponent Life, although we've yet to see his ZvZ we know he's pretty impressive sitting with a 73% win rate in ZvZ. Life has a reputation for playing less than standard, he always puts his own little twist on everything he does. This was on full display in his previous matches especially against Elfi. Life has amazing decision making to always turn an unfavourable situation into his favour.

Regardless of the match up this series will be intense, both players know what's at stake and both players need to continue pressing forward and get into the semi final. Curious likes to stick to the normal Korean meta and Life well, he's Life. The circumstances favour Life in my opinion and I'll give him the edge in this series.

Prediction: Life 4 - 2 Curious

When TSL 4 kicked off no one expected JonnyREcco to make it past the first round. However against all the odds he's now the last non Korean left in the tournament. Tonight he faces Code S Terran Keen and it could be his biggest challenge yet.

JonnyREcco surprised everyone by making it into TSL 4 prior to TSL he was relatively unknown but burst onto the scene and started making a name for himself by defeating first round opponent Naniwa 3:1. He then moved on to face Major, an upcoming star from the NA scene and managed to smash him 3:0. Major threw everything he could at him but JonnyREcco defended it perfectly each time, however Keen is a different player entirely.

Keen will be the second Code S player to go up against JonnyREcco. If anyone can deal with the last non Korean hope it's him. Keen disposed of Vortix in a closer series but dealt with him none the less. Keen presents something JonnyREcco hasn't faced yet in TSL and that's a Korean Terran. TvZ is revolved around timing attacks and Keen has some of the best in the game.

Keen is one of the toughest challenges JonnyREcco has faced. On the same note Keen will be the biggest test JonnyREcco has ever played against. This game will be the perfect clash of styles as JonnyREcco loves to sit back and play the defensive style whereas Keen is a master at exploiting timing windows.

Prediction: Keen 4 - 3 JonnyREcco

The round of 16 was full of drama, but the round of 8 is here and it's bigger and better. Tonight you'll find yourself glued to your monitor to watch the action unfold for yourself. The games start tonight at 8PM CET over on at Team Liquid.

However if you can't watch the action live tonight then don't worry, here at SK-Gaming.com we will be providing live coverage of the entire night with results being updated as they happen and recaps of each series, be sure to check that out.
