ImageTSL 4 has by far been one of the most anticipated online tournaments the StarCraft 2 world has seen so far. The prestigious 32 player tournament is featuring players from all over the world! Day 1 of the round of 8 is about to get under way - let's preview the action ahead of us!

The Team Liquid Starleague has become one of the biggest events of the year. TSL is known for changing the lives of many young pro gamers looking to make a name for themselves. This TSL will be no different in fact with the upcoming launch of HOTS this might be the tournament for someone to build their career.

Day 1 of the round of 8 is here. We have 8 players going head to head to earn their spot in the Semi Finals. Anyone from the remaining 8 can be the champion of TSL 4, there isn't a single player who doesn't deserve to be here. Tonight will decide the first Semi Final and it's going to be all Korean! Let's not waste any time and get right into the preview!

KR Kang 'First' Hyun Woo Vs KR Ju 'Sting' Hoon

Both of these players have really made their mark in the TSL. Sting taking out two of Europe's biggest players, Beastyqt and Darkforce. First smashing through Daisy and Taeja.

The round of 16 was difficult for both of the players, but it's obvious who had the rougher time getting to their current position. Taeja was on fire recently and was the hot favourite to take home the first place finish at the end of TSL, but First had something to say about that. Taeja and First had met twice with Taeja coming out on top each time but last week First changed things up and dismantled Taeja in a 5 game series. First put himself on everyone's radar after that performance and tonight will be much of the same. After taking out the favourite he's brimming with confidence despite PvT being his worst match up.

Stings round of 16 match was completely different from First, he walked away with a clean sweep 3:0 on Darkforce and in the previous round before that slaughtered Beastqt 3:1. His TSL run so far has been nothing but a breeze. Tonight though his TvP will be put to the test against arguably one of the best upcoming players in Korea. Unfortunately for First there isn't much information to work with regarding Sting other than their previous match up in the finals of the TSL qualifier.

The last time these two met it finished 3:0 to Sting but I highly doubt it'll finish in similar fashion. These two have a best of 7 to battle it out and I've got a feeling it'll go all the way. Terran Vs Protoss is always a great match up and tonight this series will be amazing.

Prediction: First 4 - 3 Sting

KR Hyun-Woo 'Creator' Jang Vs KR Kim 'Hack' Young Il

The second match of tonight will be the more experienced Koreans facing off. Both of these players already have a name for themselves within the community, this tournament will push them further in their already established careers.

First up we have Creator who has been on a tear throughout TSL, defeating SeleCT 3:0 and demolishing CoCa 3:0. It's been difficult for anyone to even challenge him at all. Although Creator isn't known for his PvZ the display he put on for everyone to see against CoCa was pretty impressive. Despite being only 15 years old he's a heavy hitter in the world of StarCraft. It'll be tough for him tonight against Hack but his PvT isn't exactly a walk in the park.

Hack on the other hand is a player who has smashed two of the best Protoss players in Europe, MaNa and HasuObs. He obliterated MaNa and took out HasuObs in convincing fashion. However Creator is whole different ball game. Hack's TvP relies around his early game timings and how he can get ahead, in his two previous games his opponents couldn't handle them efficiently and paid the price but Creator is someone who's used to this sort of thing.

It will be one of the toughest games of the tournament for both players and we have a front row seat to watching this best of seven battle. It's hard to doubt Creator but Hack presents something he's yet to face in TSL 4.

Prediction: Creator 4 - 2 Hack

The round of 16 was full of drama, but the round of 8 is here and it's bigger and better. Tonight you'll find yourself glued to your monitor to watch the action unfold for yourself. The games start tonight at 8PM CET over on at Team Liquid.

However if you can't watch the action live tonight then don't worry, here at we will be providing live coverage of the entire night with results being updated as they happen and recaps of each series, be sure to check that out.
