Series recap:
The first map that kicked off this great series between these two giants wasCloud Kingdom, nothing special happened in the early game as both of them expanded and began macroing as much as possible. SuperNova showed how much of a sneaky player he is, when he proxied a Starport near MC’s natural and killed near twenty probes doing quite the economic damage. SuperNova knew that MC will go for a third base and went for an attack at that specific point and managed to kill the third base while it was constructing. The korean Terran player showed his epic macro skills, being one base ahead while aggressively attacking with medivacs on the natural and main base. In the end SuperNoVa did too much damage to MC’s economy and crippled the Protoss’s ability to have the an army to deal with the Terrans attacks and won game number one.

The map to welcome game number two was Daybreak, a map that is well known for the macro oriented plays and both of them decided to open that way. SuperNoVa tried to get an economic edge in the game, when he went for a faster third base. As in game number one the attacking choice for the Terran player is cloaked banshees which killed around twenty probes again, after that economic damage, the final killing blow to MC’s play is when he attacked the main base with medivacs and a raven, attacking the third base with another chunk of his army and the natural with an banshee at the same time, destroying the main and the third base. After several successful attacks SuperNoVa went for a final attack and “gg” was forced out of MC.

Overall in these series it felt like SuperNoVa was always a couple of steps ahead of MC and whatever he made, it was working for him every time.

KR Min Chul 'MC' Jang 2 - 0 CL Pipe 'KiLLeR' Zuñiga

Game 1 ESL Cloud Kingdom - Winner: MC
Game 2 ESL Daybreak - Winner: MC

KR Min Chul 'MC' Jang moves to 3-1 in group D!

Series recap:
Cloud Kingdom is the map that will started the series between these two players, pretty standard early game from both of them, going for fast expand builds. MC showed why he has over 60% win rate over Zerg went for a stargate opening and started to poke KiLLeR’s third base, but with phenomenal micro killed a couple of queens and overlords without losing a single unit. After the initial pokes from MC with his air units, both of them decided expand as much as they can. With some back and forth action between the two of them, MC marched to KiLLeR’s fourth base and destroyed it, after more stalker reinforcement the Protoss player went for the final push with stalkers and colossus, and with great position and force fields MC won game number one.

Daybreak was the map where MC and KiLLeR will battle it out, as soon as the game started MC showed that this game he will mix things up as he tried to cannon rush the natural base of KiLLeR but only managed to force him to cancel it. After the cannon rush attempts from MC he went for a double stargate pumping out a couple of Void Rays and after that is followed by Phoenixes. The air push that MC did was not enough to kill the Zerg player and because of that he decided to get a later third base, while teching to Archons and getting double Colossus production. After some pokes with the armies MC’s mothership got mind controlled and a vortex was dropped in the middle of his army, in the end of the battle he lost it all, but KiLLeR overextended himself by trying to end the game but it was denied by MC’s blink stalkers. Both of the players decided to wait a while before attacking each other, but when KiLLeR decided to push his Infestor control was not that good and lost almost all of his Infestors leaving the Broodlords with no support. MC capitalized on that mistake and destroyed KiLLeR’s army and got a “gg wp” winning the series with a clean 2:0.
