The Russian organization announced the release of their Counter-strike 1.6 squad. With the shut down of M5.CS, another Russian team, Place2Play will bring in three of the former players from the disbanded team.Today, the Russian organization Moscow 5 announced that they will no longer be supporting a Counter-strike 1.6 division. The rumours of the end of the M5.CS 1.6 era started some time ago, while in the absence of their manager Dmitry Smilyantsa, the squad ceased training together, and the players played on time mixes at different tournaments as the Inuria Championship Summer.
The lack of involvement of big tournaments on the 1.6 version of Counter-strike
unfortunately was one of the main reasons for the organization to take this decision and finally disband the team which over the past years managed to become the best Russian team getting notable achievements on a variety of international tournaments.
As today all the doubts about the Moscow 5 CS division future were disclosed, another Russian team Place2Play did not waste time and officially announced that they will be picking up three players from the released muscovite team.
