Today, the Russian organization Moscow 5 announced that they will no longer be supporting a Counter-strike 1.6 division. The rumours of the end of the M5.CS 1.6 era started some time ago, while in the absence of their manager Dmitry Smilyantsa, the squad ceased training together, and the players played on time mixes at different tournaments as the Inuria Championship Summer.

The lack of involvement of big tournaments on the 1.6 version of Counter-strike
