ImageThe World Cyber Games Counter-strike: Online regional qualifier that took place in Shangai ended up with Tyloo winning and getting the $768 prize pool alongside with their passport to the national finals.

With the refusal of the WCG organizing committee to keep the support on Counter-strike 1.6, they replaced it with the promotional game title Counter-Strike: Online. The Shangai regional qualifiers of that discipline ended recently, showing CN TyLoo on top as expected.

The Shangai qualifier event featuring the Online version of Counter-strike, clearly showed a decrease on the amount of participating teams compared to the past year edition which was played on the 1.6 version of the game.

The winner of the first season of K1 League, managed to easily overcome all their opponents playing at a high level and confirming their status as undisputed favorite. Tyloo's devastating performance started in the group stage and as result, they took the champion title, the $786 prize pot and a spot in the Chinese national finals.

WCG Shangai CS:O qualifier final standings
-1st place - CN TyLoo - $786 + slot in the National Final WCG China 2012
-2nd Place - CN Bow - $314
-3rd place - CN des - $157

The Grand final was more of the same for Tyloo who kept their performance strong as in the previous stages. At the start of the match, CN Bow showed steady team play, but their rivals took the first map with an advantage of four maps. The second and last map was simply an overwhelming victory in Tyloo's favor, which did not allow the runner ups to take a single round and closed the battle 2-0.
