Jonathan 'Jinro' Walsh was a pillar of the early StarCraft II scene with his impressive run in the GSL. He was one of the first players who stood up to the Koreans and showed what dedication and hard work can do.
Although getting off to a rough start out in Korea. He worked hard to become a better player, practising for hours on end in the oGs-TL house. His hard work paid off in late 2010 where he took first place at MLG Dallas. This confidence boost was the vital component in his GSL run. Jinro was the first foreign StarCraft player to reach further than the round of 16. He is also the only foreigner to have reached the Semi-Finals of the GSL twice in a row.

He was a very good player in the early times but you could somehow guess that he would retire soon as his recent results have not been the best. He already seemed a bit upset in some of his last interviews. Nevertheless a big loss :/ You can only wish him the best for the future :)
