FireCore's fourth edition came to an end after two days of intense Counter-Strike action, where the teams took part of the battle for the title and the $2,170 prize pot. The second day of the event started with the round of 16, where the two finalists got a BYE as they were the teams with the biggest round difference on the group stage.

The quarter finals round showed only one surprising result when [UKLA] defeated WebOne who in the previous stage won all their matches.



At semifinals, the runner up Coldgame managed to take a victory against [UKLA] with a double 16-10. On the second match of this stage, Free Agents had a hard battle against iGamerz fr as the local team won the first map, de_tuscan with a score of 15:19 and took the second and definitive, de_inferno with 16-12 on the scoreboard.



The final match started as a very disputed fight, where both teams showed consistent teamplay and effective strategy to finish the first map, de_dust2 tied in 15. In the overtime, ColdGame wasted no time and took the 4 first rounds to win the map with a score of 19-15. The second map, de_tuscan showed a strong reaction from Aaron 'AaroN' Hemmings's team that kept a steady performance just a bit above the Swedish squad efficiency, allowing them to take the map with a final score of 16-10 and forcing a third and last map to decide the champion.
The map chosen for the definition of the championship was de_nuke, where Christian 'arch1e' Pedersen and company dominated since the first pistol round with a total overwhelming performance that broke ColdGame's resistance. At the end of the map, the scoreboard showed a 16-3 in Free Agent's favor, closing the final match with a global score of 2-1.



With the victory, the English squad gets the champion title as well as the respective prize money.
