Curse's US division has been living together and improving for a while now, so results are yet to be seen. If they're counting on an easy win, however they should think twice - their European opponents might not be amongst the most famous teams on the Old Continent, but they have participated in quite a few online events, getting great results. Will Europe take over the battle for America against all odds? Stay tuned to find out !

US Team Curse vs EU Bacon Lovers Are Crazy Kool

GAME 1:

Curse Bans: Riven, Soraka, Lee Sin
BLACK Bans: Ahri, Shen, Alistar

Curse Picks: Rumble, Ezreal, Morgana, Blitzcrank, Shyvanna
BLACK Picks: Sona, Malphite, Corki, Karthus, Nocturne

Game Recap:

Game 1 immediately picked up the aggressive pace after team Curse decided to invade the enemy jungle. This is where Malphite picked up first blood and gained a theoretical advantage over his opponent on the top lane. Some more kills were traded by both teams all around the map, but until minute 10, the result was 2:2 kills.

This particular moment however, put the first of a few steps for Curse on their way to victory: a well executed gank bot led to a 3 for 2 exchange in their favor and the opportunity to pick up the first drake.

From then on, it was all about Curse - completing objective after objective, applying pressure and winning every teamfight. They managed to pick up Baron Nashor twice - first time at minute 18, after a huge teamfight mid and 4 for 1 exchange in their favor. Second Baron also was theirs: winning a great teamfight near enemy red buff, they claimed their prize uncontested.

Game was pretty one sided and ended in 34 minutes, with 27:12 in kills and 60k to 44k gold difference

WINNER: CURSE!

GAME 2:

Curse Bans: Rumble, Soraka, Lee Sin
BLACK Bans: Ahri, Shen, Nocturne

Curse Picks: Janna, Shyvanna, Alistar, Ezreal, Orianna
BLACK Picks: Sona, Malphite, Morgana, Graves, Jax

Game Recap:

The second game started in a similar way as the first one: Curse going aggressively in to the enemy jungle, catching Graves out of position and stealing the enemy blue buff in the process.

From this point they were looking forward to increasing their advantage. Switching around lanes helped the Americans score another 3 kills. For the next 18 minutes the advantage was constantly increasing: Curse were 6:0 ahead in kills and were clearly dominating.

First big teamfight was also in the US team's favor: A clean 4 for 0 exchange gave them the opportunity to take Baron and increase their gold lead even more. Seeing they have the psychological advantage over their opponent, Curse were looking forward to using their baron buff and decided to push for the win. BLACK were too far behind to come back from such pressure and the game ended after they lost 4 members in a perfectly executed teamfight. Score: 1:18 kills, 25 minutes, 47k - 32k gold.

WINNER: CURSE!

GAME 3:

Curse Bans: Soraka, Lee Sin, Malphite
BLACK Bans: Rumble, Ahri, Shyvanna

Curse Picks: Alistar, Nocturne, Graves, Singed, Veigar
BLACK Picks: Nunu, Ezreal, Karthus, Janna, Yorick

Game Recap:

Having already set the standard of aggressive early play, Curse picked up first blood once again. The third game however wasn't the most dynamic one and for both teams it was farm first, fight later. It took nearly 17 minutes for the American team to pick up advantage after a forced teamfight near dragon.

Even though Curse was looking pretty solid again, BLACK were still into the game. They proved it 10 minutes later after managing to catch their opponents off guard, scoring 5 kills to 2 in the process.

Curse however picked up the pace almost instantly, winning the next huge teamfight, picking Baron and going deep into enemy territory. After taking 2 inhibitors and forcing BLACK to regroup in their own base it was just a matter of time before they finish the game. Which they did in 35 minutes with a result of 27:14 and a solid 14k gold difference.

WINNER: CURSE!
