ImageAnother organisation announced a new team as well as their attendance at the EGL 7 LAN in one week. All information about the new line up and some statements can be found here.

Only 6 days separate us from the biggest European console LAN event this year. The EGL 7 will take place at Blackpool next weekend. The organisers expect more than 100 teams from western Europe and SK's own MW3 team will be attending the event.

In the last weeks a lot of organisations announced new teams that will participate at EGL 7. Yesterday the organisation "Horizon" adumbrated their new line up, which will be representing them on recent LAN events. This latest roster is captained by none other than Carlin 'Falconer' Falconer, who already gained some LAN experience and reputation.

The rest of the team comprises a decent amount of LAN experience. Jack 'Hair' Hairy contributed to one of the biggest surprise teams of EGL5, where he gained a top 16 placement with Rosey's boys on his LAN debut. The team is completed by former FUBAR player Jack 'Motionz' Britten and former G8 player Clarke 'Flux' Wood. Motionz and Flux placed respectable 17-24th at EGL5 for their old organisations.

Now the four players came together and joined "Horizon". The organisation grabbed the chance and will send a team to an EGL event again. It's difficult to say where they will be placed at the end of the tourney, but "Horzion" hopes to work together with their new team for a long time.

In a little statement to, team captain Carlin "Falconer" Falconer had this to say:

"First of all thanks to Jono, Liam, Luke & Steve for giving us this chance, without them we wouldn't be attending EGL full stop! After VYE closed we were left to hunt for a stable org to take us on. Even from day one myself & Jono knew what we were both capable of in regards to helping each other out so i'm glad to finally be working alongside him. Also thank you to Horizon's sponsors TigerWare & CustomCr8ions"

And Horizon manager Jono Perry stated:

"It's a pleasure to be able to introduce our new Horizon line-up. Its been a long process and after many talks with Carlin it was clear the desire he had to make this work. The passion he puts into the game means it is obvious to us that they are the right choice to take our organisation forward. We wish the lads the best of luck at EGL7 and hope to work with them for a very long time to come."
