ImageYou're going to visit the GC 2012, but you don't know which games you should play ? In our new game series we will show you the big publisher and their games. Today we will bring you the game line up from Electronic Arts a little bit closer.

For the fourth time, from August 15 - 19, the international games community will descend on Cologne to savour the fascinating world of computer and video games. Gamescom, the world's biggest trade show and event highlight in interactive entertainment, will this year be on a larger area with additional themes and even more service and games.

In our last article we have got the biggest game developer and publisher with the biggest booth at the Gamescom every year:

Electronic Arts

Originally, EA was a home computing game publisher. In the late 1980s, the company began developing games in-house and supported consoles by the early 1990s. EA later grew via acquisition of several successful developers. By the early 2000s, EA had become one of the world's largest third-party publishers. Last year EA reported $3.8 billion in revenues for the fiscal year. In June 2011, EA launched Origin, an online service to sell downloadable games directly to consumers, which made headlines into print media, because of the unsafe acquaintance with the customers information.

EA develops and publishes games under several labels including EA Sports titles, "Madden NFL", "FIFA Soccer", "NHL", "NCAA Football", "SSX" and "NBA Jam". Other EA labels produce established franchises such as "Battlefield", "Need for Speed", "The Sims", "Medal of Honor", "Command & Conquer", as well as newer franchises such as "Dead Space", "Mass Effect", "Dragon Age", "Army of Two" and "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic", produced in partnership with LucasArts.

Crysis 3

After Crysis and Crysis 2 the german developer Crytek announced the 3rd game of the successful game series. Crysis is a first-person shooter video game which will be released in 2013. Crysis 3 a sequel to the 2011 video game Crysis 2, and will run on the powerful CryEngine 3 game engine.

Players take on the role of Prophet as he returns to New York, only to discover the city's been encased in a giant Nanodome created by the corrupt Cell Corporation. The New York City Liberty Dome is a veritable urban rainforest teeming with overgrown trees, dense swamplands and raging rivers. Prophet is on a "revenge mission" after uncovering the truth behind Cell's motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. Psycho is said to return alongside Prophet in Crysis 3.

The game is developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. EA didn't announce if you can play the game at the Gamescom 2012 or if you just can see some new game material.

Medal of Honor Warfighter

Nearly 13 years ago, the Medal of Honor brand was born with authenticity and respect for the soldier at its core. In 2010 EA released the last Medal of Honor game, which took the game series out of World War II and introduced players to today’s most elite U.S. warriors. The game will take the players into a huge number of real world incursions. The game will feature real world hotspots and international Tier 1 Operators in Multiplayer.

The game is based on the revolutionary Frostbite 2 game engine, which is also used by Battlefield 3 for the best-in-class experience with gorgeous visual quality, deep environmental sound design, devastating AI and detailed micro destruction.

You can play a singleplayer mission and maybe the multiplayer at the Gamescom 2012. The game will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 26, 2012. Check out the complete Preview and Multiplayer trailer here !

Need for Speed Most Wanted

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a racing video game developed by British games developer Criterion Games. Most Wanted is the nineteenth title in the long-running Need for Speed series and will pick up on the Most Wanted intellectual property. Most Wanted, combines what amounts to Criterion’s arguably best work - the open-world design of Burnout: Paradise, alongside the cat-and-mouse chases of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.

Most Wanted has everything you want from a good arcade racing game - from a watchful police presence, to a sandbox, you will not miss anything. While driving around the city, picking up races, finding jumps, and breaking through billboards on the fly, cops will actively take notice of your erratic traffic violations. Need For Speed: Most Wanted also includes the Autolog stats-tracking, social system, which became a signature feature of Hot Pursuit. The game will constantly track your accomplishments, movements and tendencies, displaying them alongside those of your friend’s within the game world.

Most Wanted will be released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, beginning in North America on 30 October 2012 and at a later date for the Wii U. You can probably play and test the multiplayer at the Gamescom 2012.
