A major online event featuring the new Valve's game will take place this upcoming Sunday. The 4PL CS:GO 5on5 Opening Cup will be held as usual on the "Olympic" system Single Elimination, and best-of-one map matches. In the map-pool there aren't any particular innovations. The teams will play at the default maps, including de_dust2_se, de_inferno_se, de_nuke_se, de_train_se, de_dust_se and de_aztec_se. Also was released that will be applied a special distribution of the maps for playoff rounds.

Also there are some released information about the prize pool for the 4PL CS:GO Opening Cup, with a total of $2.128 distributed between the best three teams in the tournament.

Currently, only 17 teams are registered for the tournaments, consisting very strong lineups like the French MAXISAUCISSE, Germans ServerForge, international composition of mTw as well as team Xapso.
