ImageWith another successful MLG Arena behind us a lot of questions have been asked about the arena now providing a free to watch option. Gamespot have the answers from MLG CEO Sundance DiGiovanni himself.

The MLG Arena has left the community divided, the once PPV only event rubbed a lot of people the wrong way as they felt it wasn't the best way to further eSports. Despite the uncertainty MLG ran the events which proved to be a huge success.

Last weekend MLG ran their first free to watch arena which once again went down as a hit. Now in the wake of the success, MLG has decided to further their goal of making all events available to as many people as possible.

Sundance DiGiovanni talked about the main goals for the Arena events and what the future holds for MLG:

Sundance DiGiovanni: "The goal was always to get to a place where there is enough interest around them to find a way to open them up. We're going to still have the HD upgrade and certain Arenas may have PPV components to them"

You can check the rest of the interview out over at Gamespot.

The interview contains many hot topics such as the current format of MLG tournaments and the future of different games being added to the circuit.
