Dignitas kicks L0CUST

ImageDignitas was booted out OGN Azubu The Champions Korea after the first round, and decided to kick L0CUST in order to perform at a higher level.

Team Dignitas competed in OGN Azubu The Champions last week, but couldn't quite bring their A-Game. They initially won their match against RoMG, but had to bow down to Najin Sword and Azubu Frost, last season's runners up.

Dignitas had gone through some significant changes in the last couple of months, when Joe 'Voyboy' Esfahani changed teams to join Counter Logic Gaming , and they took in Alberto 'Crumbzz' Rengifo to defend their toplane.

Now the entire line-up apparently feels that removing Patrick 'L0cust' Miller from the line-up and recruiting a new support is necessary to perform at a higher level.

Team Captain and AP Mid William 'scarra' Li commented the following on the drastic line-up change on the Dignitas website:

"Today, we part with one of the oldest members of the Team Dignitas League of Legends team. L0cust, our support player, will no longer be playing for our team. We had to reach a tough decision after our performance in korea and prior events, and we decided that we wanted the highest chance to win the season 2 championships, which was a choice that eventually came down to this moment.

While it may seem like a decision made far too late with the impending NA regionals, the team decided that with the addition of our as of yet unannounced support player, we can look to perform at a higher level."
