The next season of the Romanian eSports Championship was announced. The opening season since the name change concluded back in May when IGG managed to get the title beating TeG in the grand final and getting the $1.340 prize pot.

The organizers of ReC released information about the prize pool, that didn't suffer any changes compared with the first season of the event. The total prize purse for this new season is $3.655 that will be provided by the league sponsor Romtelecom.

The prize money distribution


The second season will kick off on September 8 and and is expected to end with season finals on December 15-16.

In the released information about the event, it was also announced that there is no limit of participating teams and that there will be a total of 15 divisions.
