EGL 5 in Blackpool was definitely the biggest console event in Europe ever. Over 110 teams attended for Call of Duty only, including OpTic Gaming from North America, the maybe best team in the world at that point. The EGL crew managed to run the tournament more or less fluently which was a major task, as they expected only around 60 teams to attend. After the event in Stockholm, EGL is now returning to what becomes a kind of hometown for EGL, Blackpool. The community and the event crew are expecting an even bigger event than EGL5 this time.

One of the teams in attendance will be the SK Gaming Dominance line up. Unfortunately though, team captain Scott 'Mak' Brass isn't able to make it to the event due to some voluntary work he is going to do in Ecuador. The trip was booked over a year ago and he has just received his final flight tickets saying he won't be able to attend. Together with his girlfriend, Scott will help to build up schools in Ecuador and later teach some English.

Dylan 'MadCat' Daly is going to fill the open spot in the team for this event. He had been playing with all of the SK team members in various tournaments and lans already, thus he is no stranger to the team. Furthermore, he was in the Western Wolves line up with Scott, Tobi and Ellis that reached that phenomenal 2nd place at EGL5. As he is exactly playing the same roles as Scott does he perfectly fits in the team.
