ImageGroup B of the massive Korean tournament started today and in case you were busy, here's what happened.

After we saw a lot of great games last week it was time for the teams from Group B to take on the main stage and show us just what exactly they are capable of. Unfortunately, we weren't able to provide you with end-game screenshots today as there were some technical issues at the tournament, but here are the match recaps.

Group B
KR Azubu Frost
KR NaJin Sword
US Dignitas
KR RoMg

KR Azubu Frost vs KR RoMg
Bans: Azubu Frost: Nocturne, Graves, Ahri - RoMg: Alistar, Karthus, Ryze

Picks Azubu Frost: Vladimir, Shen, Nunu, Vayne, Maokai

Picks RoMg: Urgot, Soraka, Dr. Mundo, Rumble, Anivia

In a game between the second placed team from the Spring Season and an “amateur” team, everyone was expecting an easy win for the first, but is that what happened?

The game started with all 5 of Azubu Frost camping in the river bush next to top lane and taking first blood on Rumble who walked near them. They also stole the enemy blue buff and sent Shen bot to fight against Urgot and Soraka. RoMg responded with Mundo stealing the red buff and then ganking top. Even though he died there, so did Frost’s Vayne and Nunu. The ”underdog” team then took the first dragon of the game. In the mean time Vayne and Nunu have gone to their usual bot lane and managed to get a kill on Urgot.

The first team fight happened when the dragon respawned. RoMg took 2 kills and the dragon. The next team fight was won even more convincingly by them - 4 for 0, which was followed up by a baron kill. They used this advantage to push Frost’s base and after winning a fight, they took out the nexus, surprising everyone.

Winner: RoMg

US Dignitas vs KR NaJin Sword

Bans: Dignitas: Nidalee, Twisted Fate, Shen - NaJin Sword: Ryze, Urgot, Karthus

Picks Dignitas: Soraka, Ezreal, Vladimir, Nautilus, Irelia

Picks NaJin Sword: Graves, Alistar, Nocturne, Ahri, Malphite

A lot of people, especially North American fans, were eager to see Dignitas in their first match on Korean ground. Did they live up to the high expectations?

The game started rather passively with NaJin Sword pushing all lanes, stealing the second blue buff of Dignitas and continuously taking the wraiths, too. They took the first dragon of the game uncontested and shortly after that finally managed to get first blood on US William 'scarra' Li. This was followed up by a ult-gank from Nocturne in the bot lane and a double kill for him. On the other end of the map US Christian 'I Will Dominate' Rivera secured the first kill for Dignitas with a gank top.

The first team fight was for dragon and it showed the superiority of Sword. They managed to get an ace and the dragon, losing only 2 people. In the next fight Dignitas killed one, but Sword’s Graves was pushing bottom at the same time and he took everything, including the inhibitor. The beginning of the end for the NA squad was IWDominate getting caught in his jungle which resulted in an uncontested baron for Sword. They pushed the top inhibitor turret, aced Dignitas again and finished the game.

Winner: NaJin Sword

US Dignitas vs KR RoMg

Bans: Dignitas: Rumble, Ahri, Nocturne - RoMg: Shen, Urgot, Karthus

Picks Dignitas: Alistar, Draven, Soraka, Anivia, Irelia

Picks RoMg: Dr. Mundo, Graves, Ryze, Taric, Kayle

Dignitas had to win this match in order to have a chance at staying in the competition, but RoMg showed great potential earlier in the day. Who came out victorious?

The Korean team started with stealing the red buff. The first encounter between the two teams happened in mid lane, when both junglers ganked and IWDominate managed to get first blood on RoMg’s Ryze. He then stole the enemy red and ganked mid again, giving a kill to Scarra. The two of them walked down the river and met Mundo in front of the dragon pit, making him their next victim.

RoMg tried to get back in the game with a gank top in which Crumbzz died and a 4-man gank bottom in which the same happened with US Michael 'Imaqtpie' Santana. The comeback didn’t last long as Dignitas managed to get an ace for nothing near the dragon and then take baron as well. The next two teamfights were in the mid lane, the NA team won the first 5 for 2 and the second 3-0, which allowed them to push all the way and take down the nexus, saving their chances for the playoffs.

Winner: Dignitas
