SK.LoL transforms its line-up

ImageSK has been going through some changes lately and everything is slowly being straightened out. We would like to present you all with an update on the line-up and the current situation.

First of all we will start with the sad news as it is always hard to say goodbye to players that have been part of the team for some time.

SK says goodbye to DE Adrian 'Candy Panda' Wübbelmann, a player who has been in SK for over a year, he came in together with DE Patrick 'Nyph' Funke from DE Team GAMED!DE . Candy Panda has been part of so many great moments, he will be missed.

As for PL Filip 'Dedrayon' Romejko, he hasn't been with the team for as long as Candy but his presence did not go unnoticed. Always a joy to have and personally I find him a fun guy to work with.

Sad as this all may be there was something wrong ingame, the team was not performing as well as it should and a change was imminent. We tried changing our mid and top lane but it just wasn't enough to break the drag and bring out the good results. The fun quickly ran out of the game which isn't good for the player's motivation and mood.

After some deliberation the team decided to release both Candy Panda and Dedrayon. We from SK would like to thank them a lot for everything and we hope that they can quickly find a new team or at least enjoy the game more, which is the main reason why we're here.

With two members out the search for replacements began with SK's eyes falling on NL Joey 'YoungBuck' Steltenpool rather fast. Youngbuck has been a dominating presence in LoL the last few months as he was picked up some time ago by AbsoluteLegends the team that is now Sadly for but good for SK, Youngbuck was released from his team which made him free for us to pick up. We would like to welcome Youngbuck to the family and hope his addition to the team will start a new era for SK Gaming.

Youngbuck gave the following statement on joining SK Gaming:

"I'm honored to become part of a great team with a rich history of achievements in E-sports.
I look forward to playing at the highest level once again and I'm very confident that together we can achieve the greatness that SK is known for."

As Youngbuck is a top lane player we will be moving DE Kevin 'kev1n' Rubiszewski towards the bottom lane where he will pick up the AD carry role, together with Nyph this should prove to be a strong lane once again.

The only position that remains open at this time is the jungler position which should be filled up soon, but don't quote me on that.

To round things up we have a team statement:

"As some of you may know already, we weren't on our best moment for so long. Top 5 Worldwide isn't enough for a team like SK Gaming.
Whole team decided that keeping the lineup we had wouldn't add anything good to the gameplay. We were just not enjoying being together in ts or even ingame.
Things had to change, and now everybody is happier.

On the other hand, we got Youngbuck. He is an excellent player and he'll add so much. Only time will tell if this is gonna be a team that can win Season 2 Championship or just another top 2-5.

See you in the battleground!"
