TCM Drop Mohog, Jake Returns

ImageTeam changes have come to a virtual halt within the Modern warfare community as of late. TCM-Gaming have decided to go against that trend as they opt to replace a player.

Departing the team is UK Steve 'Mohog' Hartland. Steve was an ex-PS3 player that made a notable impact on the European Xbox 360 Scene. Replacing him is UK Jake 'Jake' Dalton. Jake is a familiar face to this team having teamed with them in the past at EGL5. The change has started off on a good note however, with TCM winning 3-2 against OpTic Gaming recently.

Steve had a few words to say on his departure:

"Basically I couldn't meet the practise schedules and became really inactive. The team change looked very likely and with Call of Duty: XP not being on this year it made sense for them to pick up their original player."

The statement reaffirms what TCM’s Manager UK Michael ‘Swizz’ Butterworth said on the TCM-Gaming website:

"We would like to wish Steve the best of luck in the future and are sure he will remain active at the top of the MW3 scene. Unfortunately Steve could not commit to the level of practice the team are putting in to strive to be at the very top of the scene. We would like to welcome Jake to TCM-Gaming, he is a fantastic player with the skill level and commitment required to take it to the next level, he has teamed with the players before over a long time through many events and was a natural selection to replace Steve. We are glad to have Jake on board and can't wait to see the results the guys can produce Jake as part of the team."

Jake also made a statement:

"I'm very pleased to be joining TCM and re-joining my former team mates. I made the wrong decision in deciding to leave after EGL5 and got ahead of myself, and although I'm lucky to be back on board, I'm 100% dedicated and determined to prove I'm worthy. It's great to be working with all the TCM management, they're all easy to work with and I'm optimistic for the future. They're extremely professional and reliable and I'm looking forward to representing them in as many competitions as possible."
