ESL Pro Series Germany Summer 2012 is scheduled for June 11 featuring Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, StarCraft II, League of Legends and Battlefield 3.

For Counter Strike 1.6, there will be a prize pool of $12,880 which includes travel support. The teams that are going to be ranked fifth and sixth place will also get prize money, but the ESL hasn't declared how much it's going to be yet.

This season, 12 teams will attend and the group-stage will feature a best-of-one mode. Following participants are fighting to become champions of the German ESL Pro Series:

For the first time mousesports will not be participating in this event. After they won the last season's tournament against myRevange.de with a score of 2-0 in the grand final, the German organization announced that mousesport's CS 1.6 team is officially shut down.
