For months the game has been in the beta phase. The company Valve has held back lately and publishes only Patchnotes on her blog. Shortly before the beginning of the E3 Valve has published the release-date for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. All you CS fans finally have a date to count down to.

Valve announced that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will launch on August 21. The new shooter shall come onto the market worldwide and be bought for even once 15 US dollar on June 21st. The game will be presented in Steam (PC), PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

After this publication it can be also discussed about offline events. Will this title be represented on the ESL Intel Extreme Masters?. Will Counter-Strike 1.6 further be a ESL Intel Extrem Masters title? Many questions remain open!
