ImageSK Gaming's Jang Min Chul has overcome Stephano and Bomber on the way of winning his first USA tournament and a huge prize of $15,000.

After taking convincing 2-1 win against SaSe our Starcraft 2 player is about to meet French star in the Best-of-5 semi-finals. In the pre-game interview against Swedish player, MC said that he wants to meet Stephano to "beat him because he's a jerk." Soon we are going to find out if he'll make it.

You can watch the live stream here and here.

Keep checking back here as we will be keeping this page updated throughout, with updates on how MC is performing.

UPDATE:

Semi-Finals:
Game 2 - Although MC struggled a bit in the first game, the second game's 7 warp gate push completely caught Stephano off-guard. Currently it's 1-1 in this BO5 semi-final.

Game 3 - MC tried to take the third game with the exact same cheese strategy, but Stephano sped up his timing a little bit and managed to defend SK Gaming player's push. 2-1 for Stephano.

Game 4 - This match is getting more exciting with every game played. MC managed to take the fourth game of this match with his blink stalkers. 2-2. Now it's Stephano's map choice.

Game 5 - MC beats Stephano 3-2 and makes it to the final where we'll meet the winner of Bomber - Squirtle match.

Finals:
Game 1 - After beating his teammate, Bomber joins MC in the finals. Before the game started, in the pre-game interview, MC gave a mighty "PROTOSS" battle yell. He overwhelmingly had the crowd's support. MC went with the blink play that he is known for, this looked to be a great choice, as he pushed in to Bomber's natural. This turned in to a base trade situation, and as MC ripped through Bomber's natural and marched in to the main, Bomber thrashed MC's natural and took out MC's Templar Archives. Without being able to make more High Templars to drop storms, Bomber was able to run MC over with Marines and take game one.

Game 2 - Bomber, not letting MC scout in to his main with a quick 2 Supply Depot and 1 Barracks wall-in, moved out with a quick Marine, Marauder and Hellion all in. MC was able to hold at the choke point going out to his Natural with Zealots, Stalkers and Sentries. Bomber quickly GG'ed and we moved to Game 3 with the match tied at 1-1.

Game 3 - Transitioning back to standard play, Bomber went with his known 5 Barracks, while MC quickly double expanded. Bomber pushed and attacked both the Natural and the 3rd base with "MMM" play. He was able to kill the 3rd base and MC GG'ed as he entered the Natural. This brought Bomber back to a 2-1 lead.

Game 4 - Early in game 4 Bomber was able to takeout MC's Nexus in the main after MC misread a incoming drop. MC did not give-up though. He continued to push Bomber and dropped something of his own, Templar Storms! MC wiped out Bomber's expansions and forced Bomber to leave the game. We once again have a tied match, 2-2.

Game 5 - Another fast game, MC went with a fast Warp Prism and Sentry, he then proceeded to warp units in to Bomber's main and force field the ramp. Bomber had no choice but to GG, putting MC up for the first time in the match and at a pivotal time, needing one more game to get his first USA Tournament Championship, MC 3 to 2 over Bomber.

Game 6 - Bomber attempted some early aggression with a Bunker rush, MC held it off perfectly. He then counter pushed, blinked in to the main, force fielded the ramp and forced Bomber to leave the game one last time. MC wins his first USA Tournament that has eluded him for so long.

1st - SKMC - $15,000
2nd - ST Bomber - $8,000
3rd - Mill Stephano - $5,500
4th - ST Squirtle - $2,500
