New revelations about the CS:GO Mod sector. It's been announced that the game will feature Sourcemod and Metamod and that they are both being developed.

Many updates came in last time but in one area there was pretty much silence. Finally news about the CS:GO Mod sector. According to some information, Sourcemod and Metamod are in the works for the new FPS title.

It is unknown what kind of changes will be implemented through these mods as Valve and HPE themselves have tried to eradicate bugs and exploits that give an edge in competitive play. For all server administrators these are great news! These tools allow to control bans, kicks, motd, and many other functions that help to customize or keep clean a server.

A short statement from Asherkin, a developer for Sourcemod was posted on the Alliedmods Forums:

"It's being worked on, no estimate when it will be ready is available at this time."

We will see when this feature-update will be published. Maybe with the next update on Friday?
