ImageThe 4 teams that will attend the Reign of Gaming LAN finals have been decided. In case you've missed the Round of 8 matches, check the winners out.

Update: Apparently the AP carry of EU Absolute Legends LT Vytautas 'extinkt' MÄ—linauskas won't be able to attend the LAN event because it clashes with his high school final exams. His place will be filled in by non other than US Brandon 'Saintvicious' DiMarco.

The manager of Absolute Legends BG Tomislav 'Flyy' Mihailov said the following about the situation on reddit:

"All the other US AP Mid players are going to be hard praccing for MLG, and their teams dont allow them to go to RoG with us, + for us was more important to take a person that we actually know and will have fun with. Since its our 2nd LAN toghether and we are still getting used to the LAN environment we also needed someone to push our experiance and confidence before MLG and we think that Saint is the perfect person to do so. + give us enough tips and tricks from the US upfront of the MLG."

The Reign of Gaming International Invitational, sponsored by Curse Gaming, was the reason for a huge amount of quality matches throughout the last month. With 16 teams in the North American bracket and 16 in the European one, the battle was fierce, but there was place only for 2 of each bracket into the LAN finals, which will be held from 1st to 3rd of June in San Francisco, USA.

The last online set of matches was played last night and now all the teams, who have earned paid by Curse flights to the States, are known:

EU Absolute Legends
EU Teamless
US Team SoloMid EVO
US Team SoloMid

The European teams can be regarded as kind of a surprise but they deserve their place in the finals after beating strong contenders like EU Counter Logic Gaming EU and RU Moscow Five . As for the North American representatives, it will be very interesting to see another match between teams from the same organisation like in the OGN The Champions final last week.

The LAN finals will be just the beginning of a full of LAN events month, so don't miss them out, if you want to pump yourself up for the all action that will be coming your way!Tomislav 'Flyy' Mihailov
