The curtain has only just fallen over OGN The Champions Spring, but Azubu is already preparing the Summer tournament in july. CLG.eu will be attending as an invited team.

OGN The Champions showed us exactly how big League of Legends is becoming in Korea. Massive crowds, spectacular shows, allround coverage and a dazzling prizepool kept viewers around the world interested for the Spring tournament.

This season Counter Logic Gaming (US) and Fnatic competed with the Korean teams but were knocked out before the semi-finals. In the closing ceremony, Azubu announced that

Counter Logic Gaming EU is an official invited team for the Summer championship 2012, kicking off in july.

Stephen 'Snoopeh' Ellis released this statement on his Facebookpage:

"As some of you might have seen by watching the OGN Spring Finals, it was announced that CLG Europe will be attending OGN Summer 2012 as one of the invited teams.

The event will begin at the start of july, I can't wait! Already met a bunch of the Korean guys from when I was last there and some more of them in Vegas. Really looking forward to going!"

We will see if CLG.eu can be a match-up for these professional Korean squads.
