Major League Gaming's recent arena series will run its occurrence this week, as they host MLG Spring Arena 2 in New York City, New York this weekend. With players consisting of 4 players from the Spring Arena 1, the DreamHack Ezio winner Marcus 'ThorZaIN' Eklöf, and 27 players from three Online Qualifiers. SK Gaming's own will be taking part, after filling in for Sping Arena 1 second place finisher Jung-Hoon 'MarineKing' Lee. Recently it was also announced that Chris 'HuK' Loranger will fill in for North American Online Qualifier Min Ho 'Artist' Jo.

Today the bracket was released and there are some massive match-ups to kick off the event. Lets take a look at some of those matchs:

Now one of the biggest potential matches of the weekend could actually come in the second round. With the way the brackets setup, we could see a rematch of the GSL Code A Round 3 match between and Dong Ju 'GanZi' Kim. lost to Dong Ju 'GanZi' Kim 2-0, and has dropped 3 straight matches to him. This could be the event to spark a resurgence for the "President Protoss", and be what he needs to get past this foe once and for all.

This will be a great event none the less, and a great display of 32 of the best players in StarCraft 2 currently. The festivities begin this weekend, May 18 and runs through May 20.
