Thorzain joins Evil Geniuses

ImageTeam Evil Geniuses(EG) welcomes the newest addition to their team: the ex-Mousesports Terran ThorZaIN.

Team WO Evil Geniuses has officially added SE Marcus 'ThorZaIN' Eklöf to its lineup. The former EU mousesports Terran will be leaving their team to pursue a more serious pro gaming career. ThorZaIN is known for his victories in TSL3 where he first made a name for himself and his most recent win at the Dreamhack Open in Stockholm, where he defeated KR Seong Hun 'Polt' Choi in the finals.

"SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA. - May 9th, 2012. - Today Evil Geniuses (EG), North America's premier professional gaming team and a world leader in e-Sports, is excited to welcome DreamHack Stockholm Champion and well-known Swedish StarCraft II pro Marcus "ThorZaIN" Eklöf to the team's StarCraft II division.

Now with Evil Geniuses, Marcus will be given the support needed to pursue his goal of becoming one of the world's best StarCraft II players. Immediately following his attendance at Major League Gaming's Anaheim event in June, the Swedish Terran will be sent to the SlayerS house to train indefinitely alongside legendary players like EG.PuMa, EG.JYP, MMA and BoxeR.

Cody Conners, General Manager of Evil Geniuses, commented, "ThorZaIN is, without question, one of the most talented StarCraft players in the world. He is passionate and committed to his craft. We're honored to welcome him to the team, and we're excited to see what comes of this relationship."

ThorZaIN will be making first appearance for Evil Geniuses at MLG Spring Arena #2 in New York City from May 18-20 along with his new teammate US Gregory 'IdrA' Fields. ThorZaIN will also be going to Korea to train in the SlayerS house.
