ImageMLG has just released an update about the upcoming MLG Spring Arena #2.

With the second edition of MLG Spring event coming up next weekend from May 18-20, MLG has released an update about their attenting players, casters and broadcast setup. Spring Arena #2 will be a 32-player event with a $26,400 prize pool. Five players have already qualified directly.

This was the top 4 of MLG Spring Arena #1 with our very own SK.MC replacing KR Jung-Hoon 'MarineKing' Lee who was unable to attend this event. Thorzain has qualified due to winning Dreamhack Open Stockholm. The remaining 27 will flow in from the Invite-Only Qualifiers which started yesterday.

The caster line-up for Spring Arena 2 sees some changes as the populared casting duo Tasteless and Artosis will not be making an appearance. They have been replaced by the British caster duo Apollo and Totalbiscuit and will be accompanied by GSL caster Wolf as well as DjWheat, JP McDaniel and Rob Simpson.

A total of eleven streams will broadcast the event: a central stream, a gameplay stream, eight POV streams and the free Dr. Pepper ultimate access stream with the usual player interviews, analyses and non-tournament features. The Dr Pepper Ultimate Access Stream will be free to all, all weekend long. The first match on the Central and Gameplay streams on Friday and Saturday will be free.

As previously announced, u can buy a $20 a la carte ticket to just watch MLG Spring Arena #2 and the Invite-Only Qualifiers or a $30(15$ for Gold members) season pass. These will enable you to watch every stream and match for the upcoming event.
