The Unsung Heroes
Kevin 'kev1n' Rubiszewski: Solo Top
Kevin 'kev1n' Rubiszewski is an unsung hero. He, along with
Filip 'Dedrayon' Romejko are the newest additions to
SK Gaming ’s roster, having joined only back in February, 2012. Don’t mistake him for a rookie player though – his stats are well comparable to any well known major solo top player, and he like
Dedrayon, performs very well in an aggressive team environment.
While some solo tops are famous (or infamous) for split pushing,
SR Kev1n appears to be a strong component of SK’s team fights. His Solo Queue stats also lean towards that conclusion. His average number of kills with Scion and Jax are on par with champions played by
Carlos 'ocelote' Rodríguez Santiago and
Adrian 'Candy Panda' Wübbelmann, the team’s prime damage dealers.

Already, his Solo Queue win percentage among the team's most played champions is the highest of them all.
SR Kev1n will undoubtedly prove himself to be a valuable asset to
SK Gaming ’s roster in the upcoming challenges of Season 2. As the season progresses, he will solidify in his role, certainly becoming an integral component of the team’s strategies and tactical plays.
Patrick 'Nyph' Funke: Support
Patrick 'Nyph' Funke exemplifies what it means to be a support player. Not only is he a die hard, in it to win it kind of player like the remainder of
SK Gaming ’s team, he performs with a camaraderie and solidarity that can only come from playing supports.
Playing support is certainly not the most glorifying role, but when you’ve done well and played the best you can, you know you’ve had a massive impact on the flow of the game.
Supports are the glue that holds the team together. Supports are the team's eyes on the map. They grant vision through map coverage, they heal and provide sustain in lane, help harass, ensure the general success of the bot lane AD carry, and are almost always selfless players who put the common goals and the lives of their team and its members first and foremost.
Nyph's statistics speak volumes about his playstyle. Not only is his average death count the lowest on the team, at 3 per game, he is generally present for every single enemy champion take down in a given match. His style, like the remainder of
SK Gaming 's is full body contact. Nothing less would be expected from a veteran member of the team. His game chemistry with lane partner
Adrian 'Candy Panda' Wübbelmann often lead to establishing early game lane dominance.

Nyph is always protecting his team, and will go down to save them. His choices for support include kits with some of the most versatile utility in the game, with Janna being the leading example. Her peel, Howling Gale, can be tailored for any given situation whether it be offensive or defensive. Just behind Janna for highest number of games played is Sona, an AP based support with strong heal and superb harass.
Because of his choice champions, fierce and relentless playstyle: where he finds himself in the front-lines alongside his other team mates, and his tenacious protective instinct,
SK Gaming 's
Patrick 'Nyph' Funke is among the best Support players of the moment.
