IPL 4 concluded less than a month ago and since its great success, the people behind it surprised us all by announcing their next big live tournament and the qualifiers for it. This time there will be separate qualifiers for European and North American teams, so there won't be any ping issues. What's more, Asian teams will have their chance, too. IPL has formed a partnership with Garena and they will run the Asian qualifiers.

There will be 4 European and 4 North American qualifiers during the next months and the winner from each of them will win a spot for IPL 5. After these 8 teams are determined, there will be a tournament between them that will decide the seedings for the live event. The winner will also receive flight and hotel accommodations paid by IPL.

The sign-up for the first qualifiers for both Europe and North America are open from today until 4th of May.

Tournament schedule:



IPL 5 will once again take place in the United States and will feature a six figure prize pool. The date is yet to be determined. There will be an open live qualifier, as well, from which 3 teams will join the ones already in the championship bracket.
