Top 5 EU-West: AD Carry
#3

fnatic ’s
Manuel 'Lamia' Mildenberger occupies the third spot. This can come as a surprise to many who don’t pay much attention to Fnatic’s games, but that guy is the reason for more than half of their wins in the last two months. He was initially recognized as a very strong AD carry back at Dreamhack, where he had amazing plays and even more amazing arrows with Ashe. A little before last Christmas he took a break from League of Legends for about a month and as a consequence he had some trouble fitting in again as a lot of meta changes occurred during that time.
The moment he showed that he had acquired his old form was at the IEM World Championship. In his team’s first match he was playing Ashe and around the 20 minute mark he still didn’t have any kills. That didn’t matter at all when seconds later he scored the first pentakill of the tournament through some awesome positioning and kiting throughout the fight. He also played a massive role in Fnatic’s qualifying for the OGN tournament quarterfinals last week – again with his beloved Ashe, who is certainly his most dreadful weapon. Another champion he excels at is Ezreal. Even when other pro players were claiming he had less damage than a caster minion, Lamia never stopped playing and having great results with him. He is also very good with Sivir – a champion he has said is very powerful and a favorite of him even before she became a flavor of the month after IEM Kiev.
Lamia’s current solo queue ELO is only 1954 with 396 wins, 202 losses and a 66.2% win ratio. His current mission though is conquering the Korean solo queue ladder, where it takes the unbelievable -90 points for a loss. Here are some more interesting ranked facts from his Summoner profile:
