The DreamHack Vengeance Dota 2 Cup will be one of the most exciting events at DreamHack Summer 2012 for sure. The prize pool will be SEK 200,000 (~$30,000 USD) and DreamHack already started inviting teams. Today they announced six out of eight invited teams, the last two invitations are already sent and are currently waiting for a conformation before they'll be announced.

There will also be four slots for the winning teams from the Online Qualifiers. The system will be a best-of-one format except for the finals that will be played in best-of-three. Check out the schedule below:

April 25, 19.00 CEST — Round 4-5
Registration opens: April 16, 20.00 CEST

April 28, 15.00 CEST — Round 1-5

May 1, 19.00 CEST — Round 1-3
May 2, 19.00 CEST — Round 4-5
Registration opens: April 29, 20.00 CEST

Qualifier 4
May 5, 15.00 CEST — Round 1-5
Registration opens: May 3, 20.00 CEST

DreamHack will allow only 32 teams for these qualifiers which will fight for the first place and slot for the big event and to play against the best of the best teams in the world. Also there will be another four slots reserved for the BYOC qualifiers at DreamHack Summer 2012 , the details will be available on June 16th this year.
