ImageNorwegian Zerg TargA has joined Australian organisation Mindfreak eSports.

The Norwegian Zerg NO Kristoffer 'TargA' Marthinsen has been picked up by the Australian organisation Mindfreak eSports. TargA currently lives and studies in Brisbane, Australia. TargA may not be a homegrown talent but he is arguably the strongest player the country has to offer.

Reagan 'RiGZ' Koryozo, Mindfreak eSports General Manager, had this to say about his new signing:

"This is a new venture for us and we are really excited to be entering the StarCraft II scene with a player of his calibre. We will do our best to support him and the StarCraft II community in it's growth in this country."

Marthinsen commented about his new team:

"I am really happy to get the opportunity to represent Mindfreak, the team is a good fit for me."

TargA made a name for himself by winning various LANs in both the SEA and Norweigan StaCraft 2 scenes. His last major international event was at the Intel Extreme Masters Season 6 Global Challenge Kiev in January.

He will be going head to head with some of the world's best in North American Star League Season 3 facing the likes of KR Polt, SE Jinro, US Sheth, UA White-Ra and SK Gaming's very own KR Min Chul 'MC' Jang in Division 5. His next LAN appearance will be at the upcoming ACL Sydney, the latest event in ACL PRO 2012 season.
