cArn opens up to HLTV.org (Part 3)
Ex-fnatic captain cArn sat down with HLTV.org for more than 24 minutes as he reviewed his career.
Patrik 'cArn' Sättermon, fnatic's new CGO and ex-Counter Strike professional player opened himself up to HLTV.org for a hour long interview (part one, part two), concluding it with this last 24 minutes video.
This third and last part started up with the pick-up of
Michael 'Friis' Jørgensen, the reasons for picking up a Dane and breaking the tradition of all-Swedish five player teams, in which Sättermon replies the need of a good sniper and being the only available player at the time. In other questions he also justified another roster changes that took place.
Questioned about his retirement, he explains when he made his decision, his mates's reaction and his impressions about the team, where he states that the team couldn't show the world how good they can be. The following questions basically base themselves on the team's performance in their last tournament with him on-board: the IEM VI World Championship. After going out after a loss, he says that it's selfish to say he should have quit after winning a tournament.
Reviewing his career as a whole, he is asked about what moments stick out in all his career, the player highlights the time with the team and the joy of winning a tournament, as well as the team's performance at events like GameGune 2004. The subject changed then to bad memories, he highlights losing WCG Finals 2009 to "The Poles", as they were stopped from having a flawless year. Sättermon also talks about the last moment as a player and the feelings throughout it.
The theme then goes to Sättermon's prefences and when asked about which title he will remember the most, he chooses IEM and CPL 2006. HLTV.org's Nix0n then asks what he is going to miss and the ex-fnatic player replies the competition and the feelings you get out of big games. After that he just gives out tips to improve your game and some opinions.
To conclude he gives his impressions on CS:GO and there are made some random questions about his favourite stuff. He then reveals that he turned down an invitation to play in NiP as well as his preference for the best individual player. In the last words he thanked everyone for their support.
